Visiting the Beautiful Parks in North Carolina
The beautiful state just to the south of Virginia--North Carolina--has many nice campgrounds and parks that you can enjoy. We have visited a few and look forward to visiting others.
There are waterways for kayaking, National Forests, biking trails, and a multitude of places to visit.
During one of our trips to North Carolina, we decided to go kayaking on the Newport River in the Crystal Coast of North Carolina near Beaufort and Morehead City, North Carolina. It was a nice paddle and a beautiful day. We were camping at nearby Flanners Beach. A nice campground that we have been to twice and loved it both times.
Besides kayaking, we also explored Emerald Isle, Morehead City, and Beaufort, North Carolina to see what the area has to offer.
