Camping with Archie Our Newly Adopted Dog
Our camping adventure with our newly adopted Border Collie mix, Archie. We took him to Pocomoke State Park in Maryland, a park we have been to a few times.

Camping at Rudds Creek Park at Kerr Dam and Reservoir
Rudds Creek Park is on the beautiful John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir on the Virginia side of this large area. This beautiful Corps of Engineer campground has a lot to offer. For the water enthusiasts, there is swimming, boating and fishing available. There are lots of hiking trails and nicely-wooded campsites.

Camping at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, FL
Did you know that Florida has a prairie with bison and wild horses? That is not the first thing you would think about in Florida but, guess what, there is a beautiful state park south of Gainesville, in Micanopy, Florida, that has an overlook to a beautiful prairie that you can access from inside Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park!

Camping at Loft Mountain Campground, VA
If you like the mountains and beautiful waterfalls, then Loft Mountain campground is one to be considered. This campground is part of the Shenandoah National Park. It is in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Gorgeous campground and worth the visit!

We camped at Cedar Point campground in the Croatan National Forest in North Carolina. Very nice campground with lots of activities and close to the Crystal Coast of NC and the beautiful beaches.

Camping at Tomoka State Park in Florida
We love Tomoka State Park in Florida! It is beautiful and has a gorgeous canopy of trees at the sites and amazing wildlife. It is close to Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. Two amazing places to visit!

Camping at Skidaway Island State Park in Georgia
One of our adventures took us to beautiful Skidaway Island State Park near Savannah, Georgia. This was an enjoyable trip and we got to see many of the beautiful historical sites in Savannah. Savannah is a unique town with lots to see and do. A great place to visit!
